Hoengseong County Signs MOU with Agricore and AgriOne to Develop Smart Farms
On the 29th, Agricore signed a business agreement to establish an Agricultural Products Distribution Center (APC) and a smart farm. Under the agreement, Agricore will develop the business plan and secure financing, while Agriwon, an agricultural corporation, will oversee project implementation and future operations. The investment company will invest a total of 40 billion won to build the APC center and smart farm facilities on an 89,191㎡ site in Sangdae-ri, Ucheon-myeon. Specifically, the company plans to cultivate its main product, strawberries, directly in the smart farm facility. Produce purchased from local farmers will then be sorted, stored at low temperatures, packaged, and distributed at the APC center before being delivered to large supermarkets.Main Business Partner
